Recently re-opened after a massive ten-month renovation, the luxurious Hotel Alfonso XIII (  in Seville offers three venues to enjoy excellent cuisine.

For exceptional Spanish haute cuisine don’t miss San Fernando in the central patio. One of the many highlights from the menu is Sirloin Wellington, a Spanish version of Beef Wellington.

As night falls Bodega Alfonso opens its doors to serve up some delicious tapas. Eat like the locals as you enjoy these small dishes which include Iberian ham, prawn salad and potato omelette. There’s also an excellent wine list with some particularly interesting Spanish vintages. Choose from either the cosy historic interior lounge or move outdoors into the delightful terrace with garden views.

Outside the main hotel building, beside the swimming pool in the lush gardens, you’ll find Taifas. Decked out in pure white Moorish splendor, the decor is as stunning as the food. Feast on a wide range of Mediterranean inspired dishes with some particularly interesting items from the Middle East. At night it’s a popular hang out for young locals.
